     Praise be to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala for His abundant blessings, guidance, and grace, which have enabled the Faculty of Law at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT) to continue growing and advancing in realizing the noble aspirations of progressive higher education.

The Faculty of Law UMKT envisions a forward-looking future with a clear and ambitious goal:
“To become an Islamic Faculty that excels in developing law based on information technology and contributes to solving social and environmental issues by 2037.”

This vision reflects our commitment not only to producing graduates who are competent in the field of law, but also individuals who possess strong moral, social, and ecological awareness, grounded in the values of progressive Islam.

To achieve this vision, the Faculty of Law UMKT is dedicated to the following missions:

Delivering high-quality legal education and instruction oriented toward the utilization of information technology;
Advancing legal research that enriches academic knowledge while providing practical solutions to social and environmental challenges;
Conducting impactful and sustainable community service; and
Establishing strategic partnerships at both national and international levels to strengthen collaboration within the Tri Dharma of higher education.

Through these missions, we reaffirm our goal of producing professional graduates who are adaptive to technological advancements, capable of developing environmentally responsible legal innovations, and committed to contributing to a just and civilized society.

In this era of digital transformation, law must not only function as a regulatory framework but also adapt to the rapid evolution of information technology and global environmental challenges. Therefore, the Faculty of Law UMKT is committed to becoming a pioneer in technology-based legal education, while upholding Islamic values, integrity, and justice.

Finally, we invite all members of the academic community, partners, and the broader society to contribute collaboratively in advancing the Faculty of Law toward becoming a distinguished, Islamic, and globally competitive institution by 2037.
