UMKT Holds Focus Group Discussion on SDG Policy to Strengthen Sustainable Development Implementation

Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia – Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT), through its Reputation and Data Office, organized a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Policy as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening the implementation of sustainable development within the university.

Held at the Amphitheater, 4th Floor, General Sudirman Building, UMKT, the event brought together university leaders, faculty members, administrative staff, and various stakeholders to engage in discussions and provide valuable input for the development of UMKT's SDGs policy framework.

The FGD served as a strategic forum for gathering diverse perspectives to support the integration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into the university's institutional governance. Through active and collaborative discussions, participants shared ideas, experiences, and recommendations that will contribute to the formulation of sustainable policies at UMKT.

The discussion focused on several key topics, including:

• Collaboration and the role of stakeholders.
• Strategies and action plans for achieving UMKT's SDGs objectives.

Through this forum, UMKT aims to strengthen collaboration across university units in supporting the implementation of the SDGs in a measurable and sustainable manner while creating meaningful impacts for the academic community and society at large.
