Vision
By 2037, the Faculty of Law aims to become an Islamic faculty that excels in developing information technology–based legal studies and contributes to addressing social and environmental challenges.
Mission
The Faculty of Law at Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur is committed to:
- Delivering high-quality legal education and instruction based on information technology;
- Advancing legal research that contributes to scientific development and provides solutions to social and environmental issues;
- Implementing community service programs that address social and environmental challenges;
- Establishing strategic collaborations with national and international partners in education, research, and community service.
Objectives
- To produce professional graduates capable of applying information technology within their field of expertise;
- To generate innovative, environmentally responsible legal science and technology (IPTEKS) products;
- To advance science and technology through the implementation of the Catur Dharma of higher education;
- To build strategic partnerships at both national and international levels.

- Strengthening high-quality education with a focus on character building and soft skills;
- Integrating Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah values across all aspects of faculty life;
- Enhancing institutional capacity and governance systems based on information technology;
- Increasing the faculty’s reputation at national and international levels;
- Expanding both the quantity and quality of research relevant to social and environmental problem-solving;
- Developing impactful, technology-based, and environmentally friendly community service programs;
- Fostering collaborative community engagement initiatives;
- Establishing partnerships with universities, institutions, and industry at national and global levels to support institutional development.
