Abdul Halim, Vice Rector for Academic, Quality Assurance, Student, and Alumni Affairs, underscored that evaluating the previous semester’s performance is a critical benchmark for developing academic quality. He reminded attendees that preparation involves more than just scheduling; it is about rigorous adherence to internal quality standards.
“This evaluation is a moment of collective reflection. We must ensure our teaching processes not only comply with established standards but also serve as a stepping stone for continuous improvement in UMKT’s educational quality,” Halim explained.
Representing the faculty perspective, Mursidah Nurfadilah, Head of the Academic, Public Relations, and Admission Bureau, outlined the strategic focus for the upcoming term. She highlighted the importance of curriculum synchronization and the optimization of lecturing hours.

On the technical front, Jubaidi, Head of the Academic Administration Section, provided a detailed roadmap for administrative readiness. This includes the management of lecture schedules, the optimization of academic digital systems, and support services for both faculty and students. He reaffirmed that a smooth administrative mechanism is the backbone of successful campus operations.
Through this coordination meeting, UMKT aims to create a unified understanding across all academic units regarding policies and procedures for the 2025/2026 Even Semester. The insights gathered are expected to serve as the foundation for data-driven decision-making, ensuring a high-quality, effective, and sustainable learning environment for the entire campus community.
