Calendar of Indonesia’s National Holiday and Collective Leave: A Guide to Plan your Academic and Campus Activities

umkt.ac.id, Samarinda - The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has officially announced the national holidays and collective leave schedule for 2026, established via a Joint Ministerial Decree from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Ministry of Manpower, and the Ministry of State Apparatus Utilization and Bureaucratic Reform. This decree serves as a vital framework for all sectors—including higher education—to coordinate their year-round agendas.

The 2026 calendar will feature 16 national holidays and 6 collective leave days. For the UMKT academic community, this schedule is a strategic tool for managing academic calendars, class scheduling, and administrative operations. By identifying these dates early, students, lecturers, and staff can balance their academic responsibilities and personal commitments more effectively.

For your convenience, the infographic below provides a visual summary of the 2026 national holidays and collective leave. We hope this resource assists the entire UMKT community in planning their academic and non-academic activities efficiently throughout the year.
